Sunday Morning

The day we were told we could sleep in because the obstacle course today would be starting late when the show ring was available, we got up early so the kids could take care of their herdsmanship duties in the morning. I was asked to take over monitoring the handler class in the morning while the superintendent went to his morning meetings. I walked the judge around to each of the children who had signed up for the class, and we ended up completing all of the kids an hour ahead of schedule. We then decided to head off for lunch so we could get back to the barn in time for Dayna to learn the process to make her own lead rope from alpaca fiber. Krysten decided that would be a good time to put on her carding demonstration since we were going to be there anyway for Dayna. They both enjoyed themselves, whether they wanted to or not. It was a pretty good morning all in all.
